These ten studies take intermediate to advanced student through the entire range of the Double Bass including harmonics. In the forward to these studies André Klenes states: "In the long tradition of studies written for the Double Bass, it seems to me that it would be profitable to evoke some of the rhythms and styles found in popular music in the later decades of this century. These rhythms and styles have been formulated so that each study presents a particularly attractive atmosphere for the musician already familiar with the notation of classical music".
